Jessica Hagy is the brilliant and whimsical cartoonist-mathematician who publishes indexed. Here’s today’s, one of my favourites.

Cy Twombly is a mesmerising contemporary artist. His Three studies from the Temeraire (pictured) is in the Art Gallery of NSW - I love it -  and I just saw his Quattro Stagioni at Tate Modern (which has been labelled a “modern masterpiece” and although I am no art critic, it did send curling shivers down my spine).

Just saw this at Tate Modern. Pablo Picasso’s Nude Woman With Necklace (1968). Picasso never fails to elicit a visceral, emotional reaction inside me.
