And I say spontaneous travel can change lives. It shifts luck in dramatic ways. Providence can’t be accused of neglect if we simmer week after week in the same dilemmas. No matter how vibrant a structure you build in nature – if it doesn’t move, undergrowth will reclaim it. And so it is with the human spirit.
